I am a Montreal-based language trainer. I am fluent in English and French and have taught both languages to children, students and professionals in the Greater Montreal area. For the past years, I have actively gained valuable experience in the second-language teaching field. Since 2013, I have worked in the corporate world, training numerous professionals. Moreover, I strongly believe that teaching is a two-way learning experience as one never ceases to learn.

At the end of 2011, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in French Studies and a specialization degree in psychology from Concordia University in Montreal. I completed my Master's degree in linguistics at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). My thesis was centred on elaborating and validating a test measuring collocational knowledge from French second-language adult learners. In addition, I obtained a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a second language (McGill University). I currently work at the CEGEP level and the university level.

Furthermore, I am keenly interested in the field of teaching, more specifically applied linguistics and vocabulary in second language acquisition. I unrelentingly aim to improve my teaching methods in order to surpass my students’ expectations.
